WOD for Hannah

We are so proud of our CrossFit ARMS family for raising over $7000 for Vanessa and her family. Your generosity and compassion are remarkable! Thank you to all of the athletes who gave their hearts and bodies to help one of our own.

CrossFit for CAMP

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first fundraiser a HUGE success! We were able to raise $5800 to help send seriously ill children to camp. Camp Soaring Eagle is a free year-round camp program for seriously ill children. Their mission is to give kids with serious illnesses and their families a chance to discover the healing power of laughter, by providing camping experiences filled with excitement, challenge and fun in a medically safe setting – at no charge to the children or families. Please go to for more information.

Thank you to all the ARMS athletes that came out to support the Bradley Harper Memorial WOD. Your dedication and passion to helping others are among the many reason why we are so proud to have you as a part of our team. Click Here to watch a great video from the event. The CrossFit Games Open WOD’s for 2013 have come to a close. Reflecting back upon the last 5 weeks brings me great joy. We had 30 athletes that chose to participate in the open WODs. Some of them were excited and some of them I peer pressured into doing them. I hope everyone who participated had a positive experience. I can’t even begin to express how exciting it was to watch people do things they could not do before the open and move weight they didn’t think they could move. The open is a chance for CrossFit athletes around the world to rank themselves, using specific standards, against athletes around the globe. Some of the WODs brought disappointment in our scores, but that is to be expected. What I came away from this experience with, is the desire to push my hardest every time, every WOD and stick to the standards. I will treat everyday like I am being judged for my form and push to do the movements I am able to do even if I am slow. That is how we become stronger. Next year I hope we have 100 athletes participating in the Open WODs. All ARMS athletes, your coaches and I are very proud of you and your eagerness to become better than yesterday! Finally, to quote the great Dr. Clint Hill, “Okay that’s enough. Get back to work. 330 days left before the next open.” -Micki

Big shout out to everyone who donated to the Jump For Jackson fundraiser. We raised $1500.00 for the event, which was the largest contribution from an outside source. Way to go Team ARMS!!! A special thanks to Mercedes Benz of Arrowhead and Jeff and Connie Lane for the dollar for dollar match they contributed. Our jumpers did amazing…out of 17 teams we made the cut for the top 10 and the final 5. We are very proud of each and every athlete who makes up our ARMS family.
